Welcome to Fortune Freestyle

Located within Canada's National Capital Region, Fortune Freestyle is a local ski club that provides training for young skiers. Fortune Freestyle is a member of Freestyle Ski Ontario (FSO) and the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association (CFSA). Our training base is located at Camp Fortune in Chelsea, Quebec, 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa.

We are a non-profit organization led by volunteers. Our CFSA-certified coaches provide coaching and training for freestyle skiing athletes who have the desire to further their skills from recreational to competitive levels. Our goal is to introduce the sport of freestyle skiing to children in the region. We want to help them grow and develop in the sport while having a great time on the slopes.

Some of the prominent athletes generated from our programs include:

  • Jeff Bean – Olympic & World Cup Aerial Teams
  • Elisa Kurylowicz – World Cup Mogul Team
  • David Crichton - World Xgames, National Development team (Moguls, Big Air)
  • Darcy Downs – World Cup Team
  • Victoria Kerr – World Cup Acro Team
