From Fortune Freestyle
Welcome to Fortune Freestyle
Situated in Canada's National Capital Region, Fortune Freestyle is a local ski club that trains young skiers. We are a member of Freestyle Ski Ontario (FSO) and the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association (CFSA). Our training base is located at Camp Fortune in Chelsea, Quebec, 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa.
We are a non-profit organization led by volunteers. Our CFSA-certified coaches provide training for freestyle athletes who have the desire to further their skills from recreational to competitive levels. Our goal is to introduce the sport of freestyle skiing to children in the region. We want to help them grow and develop in the sport while having a great time on the slopes.

In Loving Memory of David and Thomas Duffy
We are all shocked and saddened by the loss of David Duffy and his son Thomas who were killed in a car accident on Feb. 22, 2012 while driving from their home in Ottawa to the Provincials course in Barrie. David was President and Coach for Fortune Freestyle and a member of the FSO Board. Thomas was a dedicated and well decorated mogul athlete. Words cannot express the depth of sorrow and sadness felt by the Ontario Freestyle community over this tragic incident, our thoughts and prayers are with the families.
The Dave and Thomas Duffy Memorial Fund will be established in Ontario to support coach and athlete development in Ontario and the National Capital Region. Details will be forthcoming. The CFSA will be accepting donations in the meantime and will forward all donations received to the memorial fund once it is set up.
To donate, please visit the CFSA website.
