Dryland 2022- Fall Fitness & Fun with Fortune Freestyle

Registration for Dryland 2022 is now closed.

Sunday mornings 10am-12pm 

 

September 25 - November 20, 2022 (no session on October 9, 2022) 

 

Cost $95 plus registration and processing fees

​

A current Canada Freestyle licence is required to participate.  You will be prompted to purchase your Freestyle licence during the registration process.  

​

​

This 9 week multisport program is our lead-in to on-snow training with Fortune Freestyle.

 

The focus is on active fun, and it is an excellent opportunity for team building and social connection among fortune freestyle athletes and families. It is open to competitive and recreational members. 

​

Freestyle skiing is a sport that requires versatility, creativity and the ability to move and learn in a variety of ways.

​

September 25 – Hike, Carbide Hill, Gatineau park

October 2 - Mountain Biking, Larose Forest

October 9 – THANKSGIVING WEEKEND (no session)

October 16 – Aerial Park, Camp Fortune (approx. cost ~$35 for tickets)

October 23 – Soccer, Fisher Park

October 30 – Mountain Biking, Larose Forest

November 6 – Hike, Wolf Trail, Gatineau Park

November 13 – Indoor Rock Climbing ($28.50 +tax for entry, shoes & harness) 

November 20 – Skatepark/Bike park at the Yard ($20-25+ tax for admission)

November 27 – Potentially on snow if Camp Fortune is open

Trampoline Training

Get in shape for the winter!

Fortune Freestyle's partner Spring Action Trampoline will again be offering trampoline 
for freestyle athletes, which will take place at Laws of Motion. 


Trampoline is a great way for freestyle athletes of all levels (recreational and 
competitive) to improve their fitness and develop their acrobatic skills - with the benefit 
that you can also see some of your freestyle friends outside of the ski season... and it is 
a lot of fun. If you want to learn more advanced tricks (including any flips), trampoline is
essential, as you must first learn and practice the skills on trampoline before 
progressing to water ramp or airbag, and finally to snow.

             Program length: 11 weeks in total (no classes on Thanksgiving weekend).
