Competitive Team

Are you an experienced freestyle skier with an interest in competition and advanced skill development?

Learn more about the Fortune Freestyle Competitive Team!

The Fortune Freestyle Competitive Team prepares skiers to compete at the Provincial level (Timber Tour).

The Competitive Team training program requires strong foundational freestyle skills and competitive readiness, both physical and mental. Athletes wishing to join the Competitive Team must have the capacity to compete safely and to manage the increased training load.

Fortune Freestyle has competitive teams for slopestyle (park) and moguls. Skiers may join the Slope Competitive Team, the Mogul Competitive Team, or both.

Further information regarding the skills and commitment required to join the Fortune Freestyle Competitive Teams is available here.

While the team trains predominantly at Camp Fortune, some additional training at alternate hills/facilities is included in the program to facilitate athlete skill development and to prepare for competition. The teams also travel to compete at the Timber Tour events.

The 2023 Timber Tour dates and locations are:

•    January, 13-15 - Slopestyle - Horseshoe Resort
•    January, 27-29 - Moguls - Calabogie Peaks Resort
